each song is built around voice memos & audio from the day i took the picture; this day (1.14.2024) i was in the last weekend of a month long stay in Japan, was in the ghibli musuem in this warehouse room display thing - full of old props and you would walk across this wooden bridge path that forked around in straight lines - this was a 5-foot replica of howls moving castle, in the original picture its way in the back and i was trying to focus on this ponyo figurines with creepy eyes, but it ended up looking really gnarly and i love how dark it is it becomes weirdly geometric and the windows make a really pronounced face. The audio is a bunch of overhead announcements from the trains or within the musuem that were just in the background of videos i took that day, entire thing is kind of just accidentally interesting.
