each song is built around voice memos & audio from the day i took the picture; this day (2.18.2024) was a friends birthday party and afterwards a mini road trip to a park a little under an hour away where a friend had a techno set to play out of a u-haul truck. went til very late and a lot of the people there were reaaally gone it ended up getting shut down at like 3am or so but look back on the day fondly. the 4 of us that drove home w me sang soo loud the whole time - the one i remember the most was guess my crush by otto and runner by alex g. The audio from the birthday party itself was on a cassette so the sound already was really artifacted to begin with and i really love how it came out. instantly nostalgic.
