each song is built around voice memos & audio from the day i took the picture; this day (11.10.2023) was my friend nates birthday and we were the era two houses ago. miss the space and the naevity we all had looking back, it was super sweet and earnest people finding their feet and working together to be creative and put on a bunch of shows and pop-ups in the backyard. Heavy red light from the cursed only lamp they had, was a sweet night i remember having made an apron with a bunch of nate-specific decals with my girlfriend at the time as his gift and him being so stoked to open it. The audio is also from this last month when he moved away to new york we had another big night with a toast, felt fitting. this was the last song i ended up making out of the 8, and the replicating drum break with laughs is really funny to me.
