each song is built around voice memos & audio from the day i took the picture; this day (4.8.2025) was a concert i and 3 other friends got really drunk at. It was also the first song of the bunch I made, because the bathroom-phone-call voice memo has been bugging me to find a use case for so long. I was gonna include some drunken fits that followed afterward just as like a tone shift but the sound of my voice was giving me second hand embarassment and I only had a week to finish 7 more songs so i moved on. I remember we pregamed and then still stopped at a bar nextdoor to meet up with more friends and i felt the tipping point happen in real-time. I had gone straight to my friends after work n the beer shot combo on an empty stomach made me start hugging everyone pretty much immediately. at one point lost my car keys because i was rolling around on the ground. Ayla and rio also had a rolling around on a neighbors lawn moment where I tried to teach them about constellations. The show itself was pretty bad all things considered, we saw this harsh noise opener tht was sick and then left one song into the main bands set. Chaotic evil alignment night, but the safety net on being able to walk 2 blocks and crash on a couch made being drunk in public very appealing. anyways kind of the point of the song, washed out thuds going to the bathroom and overhearing something insane then getting hit with how loud it is again and just sorta bouncing back into the crowd. the night goes on, yes i'll split a tall boy with you.
